I'm Mahanetran Murali - the first designer in my family and future Edison awardee. In a previous life, I made music as Coast boi - an ode to my birthplace Pondicherry, and doodled endlessly on the back of my textbooks in the hopes I'd be an artist someday. Now, I wear the badge of creativity with a renewed perspective after graduating in Service Design at Srishti Institute 🇮🇳 and Design Management at SCAD 🇺🇸
I specialize in product design with a focus on digital UX, strategy, research, cross-functional concept development, and innovation. With over three years of experience in B2B, b2c, consulting, entertainment, fintech, federal services, and SaaS Healthcare, I've been ingrained in startups to billion dollar companies who believed in my creative prowess to own design, build and refine product-brand experiences while advocating for customers and users in rapidly evolving industries.
I believe that good design is good for business when it is executed tastefully, empowers people, and feels human. As a lifelong learner, I adapt my creative process to align with the quadruple bottom line – people, planet, profit, and purpose.

The embodiment of functionality and innovation. It bridges passion with resonance. The way we experience things and moments for what they are. Good designers see this looking past the aperture to unveil connections on the thinnest tethers, without fear of tugging the string.
Product Management
Every pixel, word, element, and interaction has its script and value, reinforced by simplicity (symptom of greatness uncovered through precision, intentionality, and plainness). Granularity shines a light on an unaddressed and underserved path toward the bigger picture.
Service Design
Channeled creativity is change. It takes a head in the clouds and feet in the ground both. Knowing when to soar and when to land informs great ideas. Dreams inspire action where pragmatism provides direction.
Project Management
No process or result is the same. Neither are titles, stories, challenges, and needs. Flexibility is a north star. Pivots are welcome surprises. Each project holds a connection that can forge meaning between people; be it within teams or systems.
